University Bars Scene

Around the university are a number of establishments that cater to the student crowd. These are the places students taking their mind of their studies hit to relax, and the good students (and athletes) go to celebrate. The star attraction is Dinnie's Den at Mac Hall on the University of Calgary campus. The Den is run by the students association, and tries hard to make student life FUN. If you're looking for live entertainment (a "cabaret"), check out who the Students' Union is featuring in Mac Hall. Max's Cafe & Bar is another great campus hangout, featuring live entertainment to attract a casual crowd.

Off campus, there are a couple of attractions: Moose McGuire's and the Kilkenny's Pub are popular off-campus hangouts for the sporting crowd.
