The Pengrowth Saddledome (formerly the Canadian Airlines Saddledome), or just "Saddledome", in Stampede Park is home to the Calgary Flames hockey team. It also hosts a variety of other sporting and entertainment events. The Saddledome has permanent seating for 18.455 and temporary seating for another 1.534 (on the floor), with another 1400 luxury box seats. The 100' by 200' Olympic-sized ice rink provides 20,000 of floor area accessible via a 21' x 23' freight entrance, and the facility has a 60' by 40' portable stage 210V/208V electrical, and 10\kw sound system. There are 3 meeting rooms with capacity from 15 to 500 people, and 39 concession stands.
There is plenty of parking at Stampede Park (except during the Stampede), or you can take the Plus-15 from the Stampede LRT Station.
