Calgary Stampede: Coca-Cola Stage

Stampede dates: July 4-13, 2008

Tom Cochrane's latest release, No Stranger Free rock & roll entertainment is provided each year at the Coca-Cola Stage, l ocated just inside the Stampede Station LRT entrance (between the ROund-up Centre and Weadickville). This event is free with your gate admission. Concerts start at 9:30PM except where indicated, and Appearance times and dates are subject to change.

Visitor Tip: Head to Weadickville and grab some eats, and find a spot in front of the Coca Cola Stage early (for popular acts, the good spots are gone by 6-ish) to dine and chill out for a bit before the concert starts. Remeber, some of these acts can set you back $40 or more at the Corral or Saddledome!

  • Thursday, July 3 at 10PM - FABER DRIVE
    Hailing from Mission BC, Faber Drive's fans loved their debut album, Seven Second Surgery, which helped them win the 2008 Canadian Radio Music Award for Best New Hot AC Band of The Year and a nomination for Best New Group at the 2008 Juno Awards.

  • Friday, July 4 at 9PM - STATE OF SHOCK
    Their Love and Lies album containing the single Money Honey, which has gone platinum, and got the group nominated for a 2008 Juno Award for Best New Group.

  • Saturday, July 5 at 9 PM - THE TREWS
    The Trews have quickly gained a reputation as Canada's hottest live band. Together they have played hundreds of dates across Canada and released three albums.

  • Sunday, July 6 at 9 PM - HEDLEY
    Hedley is Vancouver-based band mates Jacob Hoggard, Tommy Mac, Dave Rosin and Chris Crippin, who released their debut album in 2005. Their latest single Never Too Late is one of the fastest rising hits on the Canadian charts.

  • Monday, July 7 at 9 pm - LIFEHOUSE
    In 2001, Lifehouse was propelled to fame when their single, Hanging by a Moment, from the album No Name Face became the most-played song of that year.

  • Tuesday, July 8 at 9 pm - FINGER ELEVEN
    Their first album, Letters from Chutney was released in 1997 (when they were the Rainbow Butt Monkeys), In 1997, they became Finger Eleven for their breakthrough album Tip, followed by 2000's The Greyest of Blue Skies and 2003's self-titled album Finger Eleven. The single One Thing made it to 16 on the U.S. charts. Their most recent album istitled Them vs. You vs. Me.

  • Wednesday, July 9 at 9 pm - PUDDLE OF MUD
    From Kansas City, Oklahoma, Puddle of Mudd has sold well over five million copies of their debut album, Come Clean. Together they have released five albums, selling over 7 million copies in total. The most recent album, Famous, contains a single of the same name which topped the charts in the U.S.

  • Thursday , July 10 at 9 pm - MERQURY
    Back by popular demand, Merqury returns to the Calgary Stampede stage with their tribute to Queen, one of rock's more celebrated groups.

  • Friday, July 11 at 9 pm- NATASHA BEDINGFIELD
    Natasha Bedingfield is the UK's biggest female pop star. Bedingfield took the U.S. by storm last year, and her song Unwritten was the most played song on mainstream American radio.

  • Friday, July 12 at 9 pm - The DIERKS BENTLEY$
    The last few years have seen Dierks Bentley emerge as the hottest young star in country music. With two Platinum albums, 2005's chart-topping Modern Day Drifter.

  • Saturday, July 13 at 9 pm - PLAIN WHITE Ts
    The release of Hey There Delilah, a single from their Every Second Counts album propelled them to stardom. The single reached number one on charts around the world.

  • July 3 - 13, TERRY STOKES (July 3-6 6:30 pm, July 7-13 5 pm)
    "America's Favourite Hypnotist" started in Atlanta, Ga., and now performs at the greatest fairs and outdoor shows in North America, as well as showrooms in Las Vegas.

  • July 4 & 5 12:00 & 3:30 pm) - REPLAY The Beatles
    REPLAY recreates the essence of The Beatles, capturing their spirit and persona on-stage. Authentic costumes and instruments make the audience feel like they are watching John, Paul, George and Ringo perform.

  • July 8 & 9 12:00 & 3:30 pm)- THE HEEBEE-JEEBEES
    The Heebee-jeebees are an internationally-acclaimed award-winning comic a cappella ensemble from Calgary, combining humor with high energy musical arrangements.

  • July 12 & 14 12:00 & 3:30 pm)- PARROTS OF THE CARIBBEAN
    The band is the ultimate tribute to the music of Jimmy Buffett. If you want to get swept away in an island mood, you will like this band.
