Mill River Provincial Park
On Hwy 2 on the north west of the island
The Mill River has a wide range of levels of difficulty, from Beginner to Expert
The park is located at deep within a long tortuous inlet which makes for some interesting exploring and could be involved with several protected routes. The shore about the inlets has a series of islands which protect it and would allow you to connect to a number of other parks. Camping can be had in the park.

Recently opened museum with a national exhibit "The Amazing Potato" (History and Culture) with extraordinary displays and interactive terminals. Self-guided interpretive centre with bilingual story-line supported by photographs, artifacts and graphics, tells the story of the potato. Large collection of antique machinery. Visit the Potato Hall of Fame, the resource room, and gift shop with potato theme. Other attractions: community museum, heritage chapel, log barn of farm implements, machinery and the one-room school. Open June 1-Oct 15. Mon-Sat, 9 am-5 pm; Sun, 1-5 pm. $5 per person, $12 per family (parents or guardians/children under 16 only). Group/bus rate $3 per person (includes all attractions in the complex.)
