Parking in the Fraser Valley is a lot less bothersome than in Vancouver. Because space is not at such a premium, parking is usually free almost everywhere. Even Abbotsford Airport offers free parking to those flying from there.

In Langley, the zoning by-law requires each home (including multi-unit dwellings) to have 1.5 to 2 parking spaces, depending on whether they have 1 or more bedrooms. Commercial buildings are generally required to have 3 spaces per 2000 square feet, both obth staff and customers. Entertainment venues (which are not eating or cultural places) must have 1 space per 107 sq ft (10 m2).
