There are many towns and tourist attractions close to York Region:
This web site's "Nearby" region encompasses three key areas:
- Smaller communities around the Peel Region (Orangeville)
- Communities to the West & Southwest of York Region and Peel Region
- Communities to the East and the Northeast of the Peel Region (to be completed when future FoundLocally sites are completed)
The area west of here is included in our Oakville.FoundLocally.com site, which includes Oakville, Burlington and the Halton Region.
The area east of Peel (from Lake Ontario, moving northwards) includes Etobicoke, Toronto, North York (now all part of the larger City of Toronto) and north of Steeles Ave is the York Region. These will all be part of future FoundLocally sites.
