Niagara Falls’s winter’s are typical for Canada, though it is the second coldest capital city in the world (after only Ulan Bator in Mongolia).
Annual snowfalls of 4 metres (12 feet for the older folks) are fairly typical, so
snow forts, tobogganing, ice skating and cross-country skiing are all big winter activities.
