Oakville

On-Street Parking in Oakville's downtown In Downtown Oakville there are over 2,800 convenient parking spaces and a Parking Token Program offers downtown shoppers 60 minutes of free parking with the compliments of participating downtown businesses. Each token is good for 1 hour of parking and tokens will be accepted in all downtown electronic meters, Municipal Parking Lots and at the Municipal Parking Garage.

Most parking offences in Oakville have fines ranging from $30 to $50. and you can pay them online or in person at Oakville Town Hall (1225 Trafalgar Road, 2nd Floor, Parking Operations) or by mail (Parking Operationsm P.O. Box 310, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON L6J 5A6).

Burlington

The City of Burlington has a 3-hour parking limit on all streets, unless otherwise posted. The City of Burlington has maintained this parking limit for the past 20 years. Parking bays, incidentally, are not exempt from the 3 hr by-law. You will be ticketed if you exceed the 3 hr limit. The city has a Neighbourhood On-Street Parking Program (NOSPP) which allows extended parking in specific areas just on weekends, just evenings, or 24/7. In any case this does not apply during winter snow removal periods. A household may apply for parking for up to 2 vehicles. Burlington has a number of lots and meters in the downtown area, primarily the three blocks closest to Brant Street, as well as along Elgin and Old Lakeshore Rd. Some of these offer free 2 hour parking. The meters are 50 cents/hour for up to 2 hours. Some lots are $0.75 hour, up to $6 per day. There is no overnight parking in municipal lots from 2 am to 6 am from November 1 to March 31st.

Burlington parking fines typically range from $15 to $55, with and *0 fine for blocking a fire route, and $300 for using a handicapped stall without a permit. Fines can be paid at: City of Burlington

Milton

The Town of Milton, consistent with other municipalities, provides for maximum three-hour parking on all roads unless otherwise posted. Homeowners may also request permanent extended on-street parking. If you are having out-of-town guests, driveway repairs or a special function, and require on-street parking in excess of usual limit of three hours, you may obtain a parking consideration. For exemptions, call the Engineering Services Department during business hours (8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday) at 905-878-7252 ext. 2530.
