Transportation: Oshawa Driving Directions

Oshawa, which lies about 60 km east of downtown Toronto, is accessible to most via Highway 401, Ontario's major east-west highway. Oshawa has four exits: 416, 417, 418, and 418 which are about 40 km east of the Don Valley Parkway (Highway 4040), 60 km east of Higwhay 400, and 75 km east to Pearson Airport.

For those using public transit, GO Transit has both train and bus service to Oshawa. Oshawa is the terminus of the "B" Train east from Union Station (fare $8 one-way). THere is also Go Bus service, roughly following the 401. A popular transfer point to & from is at Scarborough Centre, where you can access TTC, and which is also the Greyhound/Voyageur terminal for eastern Toronto(fare about $7 one way).

For those arriving at Pearson, you can take a GO Bus ($10), taxi ($86-90) or limousine ($95-99), or take a shuttle bus. The towns from Pickering to Bowmanville are serviced by Classique Airline Service (1-800-387-S4S0 Fex: 1-905-831-1611), and the towns from Bowmanville to Belleville east to Kingston are serviced by Coach Canada (1-800-461-7661 Fax 1-705-748-2452).
