Rideau River Rapids By Carleton University

The Rideau River and the Rideau Canal are not only strong parts of the city history, but they form part of the city's social fabric even today. In the summer, boating tourists navigate on the Rdeau Waterway to the Rideau Lakes and to Lake Ontario. And in the winter, civil servants commute to work, and students skate to school to two unviiersities and a college on the Rideau Canal Skateway.
