Timothy's coffee in the Byward at Sussex Ottawa has a wide range of coffee shops in the city. While many are centered around the downtown business core, there are lots of other spots to go. Ottawa has benefited from the proliferation of the coffee chains, including Canadian ones like Timothy's, and Second Cup, but the US ones like Starbuck's. There are also a number of smaller community-centered coffee establishments that are more homey in nature.

Great spots for a coffee are in the Byward (of course), south of Rideau by Ottawa U, downtown clustered around Sparks St and Banks Street, along the ever-eclectic Elgin Street, and between Bank & Bronson close to Carleton U.
