Regina home neighbourhoods: Walsh Acres / Argyle Park
These communities in north west Regina are north of 9th Ave North, and between McCarthy Blvd on the west and Albert Street to the east. The community has good access to the rest of Regina view 9th Ave and the Ring Road.
Schools
The community has three public elementary schools and two Catholic schools, two high schools are at the northwest edge of the community, with a public library is nearby (in Sherwood Village Mall).
Shopping
Shoppers generally head to either Sherwood Village to the north west or Normandview Mall to the southwest. Northgate Mall, on the east side of Albert Street is also close-by.
Recreation
The community has a number of parks, and a Leisure Centre and an ice arena just to the northwest. Joanne Goulet Golf Course is to the southwest and the Regent Park Par 3 course is a kilometre south.
Homes
The houses in Walsh Acres are generally upscale homes, while those in Argyle Park tend to include a number of government subsidized town houses. House prices in Argyle Park range from $60,000 to $98,000 and in Walsh Acres homes range from $85,000 to $132,000.
