Legislative Building
Wascana Centre, 4607 Dewdney Avenue S4T 1B7
This building was built form 1908 to 1912, reflecting the architecture of both the English Renaissance and Louise XVI of France. Tours are conducted year-round every half hour. Open Victoria to Labour Day from 8 am to 9 pm. In winter from 8 am to 5 pm. When the legislature is in session, tours are also available 6 pm to 9 pm. Free admission. Government House 306-787-5773

City Hall

See Regina's City Hall, the focal point of the "Queen City." Tours take you through the council chamber, foyer and forum. Open Monday to Friday 1 am to 4:30 (please book tours in advance).

City of Regina Greenhouse

This greenhouse features seasonal floral displays (especially Christmas, Easter and Fall). Also hosts the Chrysanthemum Shows. Gift Shop is open to all. Open Sept 1 to may 31, from 1 pm to 4:30 pm. Closed June to August, and Christmas Day. Free Admission.

Take a tour of the printing of a daily newspaper. Regina's largest paper is part of the Southam/Canwest newspaper chain. Tours are offered for groups of at least 12, with advance booking. Open 9 am to 3 pm. Free admission.

Take a year-round self-guided cemetery tour in the provinces oldest and most interesting cemetery. Two tours offer either prominent city fathers or immigrants and the city's multicultural heritage.

Regina Firefighters Museum/ Fire Hall

This modern fire station contains both fire fighting equipment and the Regina Firefighters Museum. Tours are offered by appointment (age restriction may apply), and school age children must have 1 adult for each 5 -kids. Call 306-777-7714. Open Monday to Friday 8 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4;45 pm. Free admission.

Wascana Waterfowl Park

Several waterfowl ponds adjoining Wascana Lake support a native bird population that includes ducks, geese, pelicans, swans. .Open May 1 - November 1 from 9 am to 9 pm. Guided tours can be arranged weekdays 9 am to 4 pm during the summer. Free admission.

Take this self-guided tour of trees and schrubs suitable for a harsh prairie climate. Over 70 species are marked with plaques indicating requirements, lighting levels, and wildlife suitability.
