Confederation College Confederation College was established in 1967. Its main campus is in Thunder Bay but others are located in Dryden, Fort Frances, Geraldton, Kenora, Marathon and Sioux Lookout, making it cover over 215,000 square miles of territory. The college provides educational services for approximately 3,200 full-time post-secondary students; 410 apprentices, 550 adult re-training students and 17,000 part-time continuing education students annually. Services are provided by a workforce of 418 full-time and approximately 300 part-time employees with an operating budget of about $45 million.
