BC Place, GM Place is the location of the hockey home games of the
Vancouver Canucks and the former Vancouver Grizzlies (now in Memphis, Tennessee). The
venue is also used for mid-sized music concerts.
Seating capacity is 20, 004 (15700 permanent, 2200 portable), and varies depending on event: concerts 21000, ice event 18422, basketball 19193, boxing 21000, tennis 19999, The arena has a 199' ceiling over a 24003 sq ft concrete floor area. Seating is arranged on four levels: Floor (for concerts), Plaza (100 Level),
the 200 level (private boxes, and handicapped seating), and Balcony (200 Level). There is a 60' x40' permanent stage, a 60' x40' portable stage, and a 200' x 85' ice rink. There is 1 megawatt of power 200A @ 120V/208V serviced by a 13' x 75' freight doors. Ther are also 8 meeting rooms with 20-120 cpacity and a 500 person banquet capacity. There is on-site parking for 565 vehicles.
