There are several places in the city (snow conditions permitting) where you can go tobogganing in the city. Use these hills at your own risk and you should ALWAYS wear a helmet.

  • Emily Murphy Park - Emily Murphy Park Road & Groat Road
  • Whitemud Park - Keillor Road & Fox Drive
  • Gallagher Hill - 95 Avenue & 97 Street
  • Government House Park - Groat Road & River Valley Road
  • Rundle Park - 113 Avenue & 29 Street

In Sherwood Park there are several toboggan hills:

  • Broadmoor Lake Park - 2025 Oak Street north of Recreation, Parks and Culture office
  • Greengrove Park - 199 Georgian Way north of Glen Allan Recreation Complex
  • Clarkdale Lake - Clarkdale Drive west of Orchid Crescent
  • Cottonwood Park - Cottonwood Avenue south of Pine Street
  • Woodbridge Lake Park - Woodbridge Way north of Parker Drive (south of Woodbridge Lake)
  • Estates of Sherwood Park - North of Estates Drive
  • Strathcona Athletic Park - 1100 Colwill Blvd (access off Clover Bar Road)
