Commuter service between Hamilton & Toronto. Buses arrive and depart from Hamiton GO Terminal and arrive in Toronto's Union Station (and other Toronto locations). One-way adult fare is about $9, with round trips $18 (GST included).

  • #01 Lakeshore GO Train & Bus Service which connects Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, TORONTO, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Bowmanville, ending at Newcastle (and back)
    Some of these trips are all train, some start on a bus, and transfer to a GO Train in Burlington. Trips taake 1:10 (all train) to 1:30 (bus-traing)

Greyhound offers passenger bus service and courier service from Hamilton and other communities in the region. From Hamilton, passengers can travel northwards to Toronto, Sudbury and points west, or travel eastwards to Toronto (with several stations around the city) or southeast to Buffalo, New York and from either of those cities to eastern Canada and the United States.

Bus service from Guelph Bus Terminal, Hamilton GO Centre, Burlington Bus Terminal, Scarborough Town Centre Bus Terminal and Whitby GO Station to destinations in southern and eastern Ontario, Montreal, and Buffalo.

Airport Shuttles

There is no Hamilton Street Railway service right to Hamilton International Airport, but you can take the "Glanbrook Trans Cab" between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday (excluding holidays) which connects to the #27 Upper James route (call 905-527-4441 for information and schedule) terminates at the Mountain Transit Centre on Highway #6 at Talbot Lane, about 3 km NE of the terminal (you'll ned to take a cab this far). From there, the bus goes along James Street right downtown to the Gore Park (and the GO Centre), in about a half hour for a fare of $2.60. When you arrive at the airport call 905-525-BLUE (2583) and specify that you want a “Trans-cab” to take you from the airport to the “HSR's Mountain Transit Centre”.
