Streetsville Founders Bread and Honey FestivalMalton Community Festival | early June | Streetsville unites for a carnival, parade and family activities. The focal point of this festival is tasting the gooey richness of bread and honey. The theme of Bread & Honey originated from commerce in the community. Timothy Street established the first flour mill in the area; there are two well-known mills here today -Kraft Canada and ADM Milling Ltd. And with many small apiaries existing locally at the time, it was a natural to add honey.
