Okanagan has hundreds of restaurants, ranging from diners and fast food for families and a quick bite, up to the four-star establishments where a nice dinner for two can easily be a hundred dollars, before wine. Being close to the West Coast the area has its fair share of seafood and even sushi, as well a diverse complement of ethnic cuisine. The nightlife is really hopping during tourist season, but still good during the post-secondary academic year, too.

Check out the area's bars, lounges, pubs and coffee shops. There's lots of places to go out and meet your friends (or ones you don't know yet!)

There are lots of sports opportunities in the Okanagan - Shuswaps region. Yes, we have some semi-pro competitive sports, but the Okanagan & Shuswaps are active regions.
