Queen Elizabeth Theatre649 Cambie Street V6B 2P1 604-665-3050 The Queen Elizabeth Theatre is located at the corner of Hamilton at Georgia Sts., in downtown Vancouver. It is across from the main Post Office at Georgia and Hamilton Sts. The theatre is home to the Vancouver Opra and Ballet British Columbia. The Queen Elizabeth has a capacity of 2,931 on four levels: Orchestra, Dress Circle, Mezzanine,and Balcony. The theatre has a 120' by 64' permanent stage and a 70' by 30' proscenium, 76 lines, 10 dressing rooms and 120V/208V 400A electrical. The Queen Elizabeth restaurant serves a hot and cold buffet, with table service, and is open 2 hours prior to performance. Reservations not required but recommended (665-2373). There is parking located below the theatre (around $5.50 evenings). The entrance is from Cambie Street. Also there is a parking lot across street on Cambie (by old bus depot).
